Bucks host town hall meeting; sign Landry

The Bucks and Ald. Milele Coggs will host a town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20 at the Hillside Family Resource Center, 1452 N. 7th St. to discuss the impact of a new arena a block from the Hillside housing complex. The Bucks also announced the signing of Marcus Landry today.

No one can say the Badgers were ill prepared, or not ready. But down the stretch, you saw the difference between a coach in his ninth title game, and one in his first at the Division I level.


Criticizing sports fans is just sour grapes

In the overwhelming joy about the Badgers victory over Kentucky, there were a few threads that claimed it was silly to root while so much serious stuff was going on in the world. The people filling social media with such thoughts totally missed the point.
