Bird turds and other tasty treats
Many of us get baking this time of year, and though I don't make 20 different kinds of cookies, fudge and candies like my mom did when I was a child, there are still a couple staples that come out of our kitchen each year.

Baking for the non-baker
I am not much of a baker. I can make a mean crème brulee and a to-die-for tiramisu, but pretty much only because they do not require me to bake them in the oven, and they are a little forgiving if you want to add a little of this or a little of that.
