The Brass Tap brings 200 beer options to Greenfield

Actually, The Brass Tap, 7808 W. Layton Ave., has more than 80 brass taps, all lined up in a row behind the bar and ready to dispense craft beers - stouts to lagers to IPAs. The first Wisconsin franchise opened last week at the end of a strip mall in Greenfield.

Second traveling beer garden tour added for 2015

After the success of last year's traveling beer garden - selling more than 35,000 beers, nearly 6,000 sodas and 2,300 root beer floats, in the process raising almost $250,000 toward improving Milwaukee County's parks - County Executive Chris Abele announced today that a second traveling beer garden tour will be added for the upcoming summer season.

MKE Brewing Co. announces successful 2014 business year

2014 was not just a good year at MKE Brewing Co. It was a great year. After undergoing an expansion to the fermentation space and capacity in May of last year, MKE Brewing Co. closed out 2014 up 54 percent over the previous year, shipping just under 12,000 barrels.

Earlier this month, Steph Davies announced that her art and gift consignment shop, Waxwing, would close at the end of February. Well, plans have changed and The Waxwing will remain open through January 2016.
