Ask OMC: Why do Bloodys come with beer chasers?
In much of the country, the Bloody Mary is a lightly regarded brunch concoction. In Wisconsin, it has a deeper, almost religious significance. Cheeseheads love the combination of vodka, tomato juice and spices and they love having it served with a small glass of beer. In fact, they're offended if they don't get one.
