Producers of the show reached out to VISIT Milwaukee last week to help spread the word that they are looking for collections in Milwaukee to pick.

When "The Walking Dead" hits the free air waves for the first time on broadcast television this month, it won't be the first time a show made for cable to go into syndication. However, when the hit show involving zombies airs on WCGV-TV My 24, it will mark the building of a new foundation that the Sinclair-owned station will use for a prime time lineup.
