Journey brings a new face to vintage rock

Published Sept. 4, 2014

Journey opened its hour-and-a-half set at the BMO Harris Pavilion with "Be Good to Yourself" and served a steady stream of its classics: "Separate Ways," "Any Way You Want It" and "Only the Young." Regardless, LaMontagne's show at the BMO Harris Pavilion on the first day of Summerfest most definitely won't be topped anytime soon.

Vampire Weekend turns a chilly night into a chill beach party

Published June 5, 2014

Things were looking dire early Wednesday morning for the Vampire Weekend concert at the BMO Harris Pavilion. Luckily, mother nature heard the Milwaukee music community's prayers. Even if the weather remained soggy, it's hard to imagine many complaining after indie darlings hit the stage Wednesday night with a buoyant 90-minute set, packed with the band's signature smartly turbocharged beach-infused beats.
