Stay in Milwaukee, save money, have fun. It's as simple as that. Call me a tourist in my own city, but I believe Milwaukee has a lot to offer when looking for something affordable to do. As much as I do enjoy other people, there are times I also love to be where they are not. One of these times was last winter - Milwaukee's coldest in about three decades - when I had reached my threshold for football and "Real Housewives" and living with 50 other people in one building, went down the hill, and took a walk on Bradford Beach along Lake Michigan. It was the most restorative thing I had done in a long time.

New Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd was at Miller Park over the weekend to take in a Brewers game, and he spent the night before Downtown. He's settling in, and learning some new things about the Cream City.

Theo Brunner has family from Cross Plains and Todd Rogers is the last active AVP Beach Volleyball player to have served it it up on Bradford Beach. The pair make a homecoming of sorts this week as part of the tour's return to Milwaukee after a 16-year absence.
