Yesterday, fast-food chain Burger King lost its Twitter account. The feed was shut down following a hack, during which the restaurant's larger competitor's images and golden arches were posted on the page.

It's been a long year, and two TV seasons and reruns and summer programming have come and gone. Just a few days after the season end of Simon Cowell's "X Factor," word is that Britney Spears won't be making a return as a judge on the talent competition show.

Britney Spears obviously didn't see Katy Perry Thursday at Summerfest in advance of her Saturday night Marcus Amphitheater performance. But it's very likely that one of her people saw Perry's act somewhere along the tour, because Spears, who was, in effect, last decade's Perry, did her best to one up the theatrics in Milwaukee tonight.

Usually, when it comes to writing reviews, our staff picks bands we like to see. And that makes it easy. When you know all the words to every song, and if you've seen the band live before, writing a concert review is just transcribing all the thoughts that were in your head, anyway.
