MCT's collaborative Shaw Festival a major undertaking
"Back To Methuselah" -- which runs through Sun., May 6 -- is a most amusing and thought provoking work that quite fairly demonstrates Shaw's comic genius and his considerable reputation as an Irish savant. The work is being presented in two segments by the Chamber; one segment by Marquette University Department of Performing Arts; and another segment, a short presented by In Tandem.

In Tandem serves up Shaw short
They do a wonderful rollicking version of "A Glimpse of the Domestic Life of Franklyn Barnabas" using the same set that is used for Franklyn's house in the great Shaw saga, now being performed at the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's annual Shaw Festival.

If you could choose, would you prefer December or March to stay warm and snowless in Milwaukee?
December. I'm not ready for winter yet.
March. By then, I need winter to be over.
There's no use complaining or hoping for better weather in Wisconsin.
Actually, I like snow.
