It seemed like it was only a matter of time before friends Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgers collaborated on an off-field venture. Now, they have, with the planned opening the SURG Restaurant Group owned and operated 8-twelve in Brookfield.

A new Italian restaurant called Mozzaluna opened in the former Mr. B's space, 17700 W. Capitol Dr., in the Brookfield Stonewood Village.

Haute Taco,18905 W. Capitol Dr., has closed. But, it will soon reopen as Jake's Burgers with burgers made by the long time steakhouse family of the same name. Watch for the new Brookfield burger to debut in March.
