A conversation with The Hold Steady's Craig Finn

Craig Finn may be best known as the lead singer of the indie rock band The Hold Steady, but in the past few years, he's shown that was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his songwriting talents. Prior to his performance at the Cactus Club on Friday night, I talked with him about The Hold Steady opening for one of his favorite bands The Replacements, his growing confidence as a solo artist and why Milwaukee is a special place for him.

Moon Duo is well accomplished for a young band. Having formed in just 2009, it already stands with five albums under its belt.
