Why do Milwaukeeans like grilling so much? Is it just an excuse to be outside for a few more minutes? Is it because we so often tie grilling into tailgating? Perhaps it's just a primal urge to cook over an open fire. Maybe we just like brats.

St. John's bunny heads give the nod to public art
When Jessica St. John asked herself the question, "What is the one thing in the world that has absolutely not a damn thing to do with politics or war?" she surprised herself with the answer: bunny heads. Hence, Milwaukee's newest -- and funkiest -- display now fills the front window of Dragonfly on Brady Street.

Local couple collaborates on colorful "Flump"
What is "Flump?" Good question. According to Seuss-esque author Joan LoPresti and her husband, illustrator Bob Danner, it's something like "Sun in the mornin', moon in the night, flump is wrong, and flump is right."
