This weekend, Lakefront Brewery, 1872 N. Commerce St., will host the city's first Mac and Cheeze Takedown, a competitive event that will feature 26 home cooks dishing up their finest and cheesiest recipes to the public.

According to its website, iPic Glendale, located in Bayshore Town Center will soon add a new restaurant. Big Daddy's Brew & 'Que is set to open "in the next coming weeks" - according to an online posting - and the eatery is currently accepting employment applications for servers, bartenders, hosts and kitchen staff.
