All Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus service will be suspended as of 3 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, because of a strike by the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 998. The ATU members will not report to work for 72 hours, but will return at 3 a.m. on Saturday.

"We all know that housing for young adults is a huge need," Wilton Johnson told a crowd gathered at a grand opening event for a new six-unit house, part of Journey House's Campus Housing Initiative. According to a report from Milwaukee NNS, the initiative provides housing for "motivated youth" - young people ages 18 to 25 who have aged out of foster care and are going to school or working.
