Dope Folks Records is quickly becoming the best hip-hop label in Milwaukee, and they aren't even releasing music cut anywhere in the 2000s. A label founded by John "Kid Millions" Kuester and Chris Schulist, focuses on releasing previously unreleased or rare out-of-print music from the 1990's, and so far the label has been surprisingly Milwaukee centric with half of its releases being from artists like Stranj Child and Rock La Flow.

With their recently launched label getting national acclaim, Dope Folks co-owners Chris Schulist and John Kuester are pairing the release of Dope Folks' third record with Uptown Saturday Night, an old school hip-hop night that pays homage to the block parties of the 80's.

John Kuester -- aka Kid Millions -- and Chris Schulist have launched a new label, Dope Folks Records, that is reissuing rare rap records. They get the party officially started on Aug. 14.
