A company that submitted a public bid to Washington County for its new radio system suddenly doesn't want to play in public anymore. M/A-Com, Inc., wants to keep its bid secret and has asked a judge to block public access to its bid.

In spring, politicians' thoughts turn to wheel tax
In a move sure to rattle the cages of the anti-tax crowd, three Milwaukee aldermen are proposing a $20 annual fee to register all vehicles in the City of Milwaukee.
