Inaugural Arte Para Todos music event announces a flurry of local talent

The brand new event is a weekend-long local music extravaganza running from Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 1, with 70 bands and 15 artists spread across three neighborhoods -- Bay View, Riverwest and the East Side -- and 15 venues. If that sounds cool, its motives (besides providing a ton of music) are even more so.

The New Red Moons rise with a long-awaited second album

Back in 2011, The New Red Moons released its self-titled debut album to happy listeners and some strong local reviews. With the first album a success, attempt number two would seem to be the obvious next step, so a year later, the trio hopped back into the recording studio. Nearly two years later - after a successful Kickstarter campaign, years of mixing and production, a new child and more - the resulting songs are finally ready to go.


World Cup unites diverse mix of soccer lovers

Watching the World Cup games at the Highbury really showcases the diversity Milwaukee has to offer. During the Ecuadorian vs. Honduras match - we had fans from both countries hooting and hollering for their team.
