Hillary Clinton wants to be president and somebody thought they ought to write a country song about it all. The song stands no chance of finding it's way onto the Billboard charts and is really the most trite example of country music. They ought to be ashamed.

If country music is evolving, it is clear that men are leading it, and two of the youngsters just about at the head of the pack are Scotty McCreery and Hunter Hayes. McCreery, 21, played at Summerfest this past summer while Hayes, 23, is coming to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Thursday, Nov. 13 for a show that is expected to be a sellout.

"The Doyle & Debbie Show," the season opener for the Milwaukee Rep, is making history. "Is this the first time a toilet's been on the Stackner stage? Probably," said JC Clementz, the show's director. The prop potty, however, nicely sets the tone for "The Doyle & Debbie Show," a goofy Christopher Guest-esque parody about a washed-up country duo.
