I'm not a guy who normally supports banning things. But I'd be in favor of a law that banned ownership of dogs who are bred to fight and attack. Just like we should ban attack weapons, we should also ban dogs that aren't much good for anything other than attacking people or animals.

The DNR said it was OK to use dogs in the hunt for the wolf. There are all kinds of hairs to split about all of this, but basically the rules allow for unlimited use of dogs in hunting wolves.

This Sunday, if you bring in a photo of you and your dog to Palomino, bartenders Bill and Katarina will reward you with a free shot. Then, for each Packers touchdown, they'll each donate $5 toward the Brew City Bully Club. It's an organization that supports community awareness of pit bulls, while working to end dog fighting and more.

Compared to larger cities like Chicago and Atlanta, Milwaukee's dog fighting community is relatively tame. Still, it does exist here and what's worse is how many young people it attracts. The Brew City Bully Club is taking action against it.
