Convention center expansion effects remain a question
The mantra resurfaces every few years when it comes to our convention center: too small; not enough room; we have to keep up with other Midwest convention cities. From the day it opened, it has never seemed to satisfy those who run it or those whose livelihoods depend on it.

Milwaukee area events and attractions -- including Irish Fest, Summerfest and Bastille Days, among others -- earned a combined 37 Pinnacle Awards from the International Festivals & Events Association.
