Daily dish: Bagna caoda con peperoni
Bagna caoda (which translates to hot bath) is a traditional cold-weather Piedmontese dish that is enjoyed in groups, like fondue. I prefer to present it in another way: atop roasted red, yellow and orange peppers.

Fall's a fine time for fondue
One of my all-time favorite meals, fondue, doesn't work in the summer. But when the weather turns cold, it's a great excuse for a party, and in Wisconsin, the concept of turning melted cheese into an entire dinner is just too awesome to pass up.
