Generations seeks small-plate success in Waukesha
Don't expect fancy foodstuffs or presentations at Generations at Five Points. Like the minimal signage on the restaurant's front, menu selections are simple, clean and no-frills. Diners can choose from a soup of the day (on our visit, this was a creamy tomato basil for $4), chopped salad ($4), which deviates from the norm with mixed mesclun greens and a choice of dressing, or house salad ($4), and a variety of options apportioned for two.

A guide to restaurant and bar tapas
Largely uncertain of the overall trend, Americans are left wondering how the Spanish concept of tapas translates to the American table. But here's the secret: tapas are simply small portions meant for sharing. Red meat, seafood, vegetables, pastas, pizzas and even sweets make their way onto the tapas menu mixing traditional appetizers, main entrée concepts and dessert variations.
