Great food, hard work make German Fest possible

For 30 years, German Fest has been a constant on the Milwaukee summer schedule thanks to a variety of freshly prepared food and a dedicated corps of volunteers. The 31st German Fest opens Thursday and nearly 3,000 people will donate their time in the hopes of making the event a success.
