Gig roundup: Bay View Bash
Last year's Bay View Bash was such a success in terms of turnout and in a musical sense with Brazzaville's free gig wowed the assembled masses, it was a shock when it seemed that the Kinnickinnic Avenue street festival might not happen this year.

Global Union festival gives a new meaning to "world music"
Alverno College is putting on Global Union, a two-day display of music from around the world at the Humboldt Park Bandshell, and the artists form an incredibly diverse and eclectic lineup.
