According to an employee, Thurman's 15, 1731 N. Arlington Pl., is closed for repairs. The bar, he says, will reopen in the future but was unsure when. I really hope this is true.


Another Green Fields opens on Brady Street

Eleven years ago, Shawn Hutchens opened Green Fields, an upscale bohemian boutique, on Farwell Avenue. Last month, he opened a second location in a brand new building, 1241 N. Brady St. The shop celebrates its grand opening this weekend.


Live show planned for Dark Star Orchestra

Dark Star Orchestra, a band that recreates Grateful Dead shows, will play at The Pabst Theater on Friday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 28 at noon and cost $22 in advance. Tickets are available the day of the show for $25.
