Admirals alumni look to push Nashville into NHL playoffs

The Nashville Predators, unfortunately, play in the same conference as the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks - but despite those teams jumping out to record starts in the lockout-shortened NHL season the Preds remain in the hunt for one of the final spots in the Western Conference. To get there, the team hopes to get some help from some recent call-ups from Milwaukee.

"Seinfeld" (the second season) first aired on NBC on Jan. 23, and to mark its anniversary, the Milwaukee Admirals are having a theme night Wednesday during its game against the Houston Aeros at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Wisconsin police, fire departments battle for the badges once again

For the ninth consecutive year Wisconsin fire and police departments will square off on the ice in a charity hockey game at the Bradley Center following the Milwaukee Admirals game against Rockford at 3 p.m. Proceeds from the game will benefit Easter Seals and autism awareness.

Schultz finalist for player of year

University of Wisconsin junior defenseman Justin Schultz was named a Hobey Baker Award finalist. The Baker Award is annually given to the country's top hockey player. Schultz was nominated for the award last year as well.
