Bayou: Straight talk on the Humboldt Bridge and dining in Milwaukee
If you've seen the dismantled Humboldt Bridge you know that it can't be easy to operate a business in this East Side neighborhood. While alternative routes are available, the construction has been a major challenge asked Bayou for an update.

Good Life still open, new menu debuts Thursday
Rumors regarding Good Life's death are greatly exaggerated. The Caribbean-inspired bar and restaurant at 1935 N Water St. has been closed for several days, but it's set to reopen on Thursday with a revamped kitchen, menu and several specials.
