Is the I-94 quick fix really working already?

For the folks who head out west on I-94 during rush hour each morning, that drive had to be a daily frustration. Those of us driving east could only look across the concrete barrier with sympathy. Could a quick fix - and one finished early, to boot - have corrected this problem?


Girl Scouts launch drive-through cookie booth this weekend

The booth, visible from I-94, will be stocked with thousands of boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for hungry commuters and will be staffed by local Girl Scout troops. Friday, by the way, is National Girl Scout Cookie Day.

Progress is good, but motels, bar still struggle with interstates

The 2006 animated movie "Cars" takes place in Radiator Springs, a once-vibrant city infused with Route 66 travelers that deteriorated when the interstate was built and droves of drivers ditched the slower roads. This happened in Milwaukee, too.
