I'm starting to get concerned about Jack O'Connell. First there was "Starred Up," in which he plays a violent prison inmate; then he starred in the two-hour beatdown-palooza that was "Unbroken." And now there's "'71," which doesn't even get five seconds in before it's punching O'Connell in the face and dragging him through mud. If he insists on essentially self-flagellating on screen, though, at least it's in the service of a quite good movie.

All in all, Celtic Woman provides a different look at the Irish experience - perhaps a more sanitized one, but powerful nonetheless. They really are so much more than four very pretty faces.

This week, the Social Circle was asked if they thought St. Pat's Day was a celebration of Irish culture or not. Happy St. Patrick's Day, Milwaukee. Have fun; be careful out there.

Okay, I understand that St. Patricks day is on Monday. But let's be honest, it's hard to get off for a wedding, let alone a drinking holiday. I am having a hard time finding places with live music on Saturday, all day? Not just at night? Can the drunkard, music-loving readers of OnMilwaukee....
