House of Guinness brings a little Ireland to Waukesha

Bartender Judith Jacobsson, who is from Wales, and regular customer, Fiona Kavanagh, originally from Belfast, both confirm that the House of Guinness has the look and feel of an Irish pub.The space is simple, with lots of dark wood, a large bar, a smattering of tables, Guinness signs, a couple of Irish flags and lots of conversation.

Yesterday, iconic Water Street bar McGillycuddy's closed its doors for good. According to a source, the business was sold and will reopen under a new name and new ownership in the near future.
