It is not often that you get a do over in life, especially in the world of theater criticism. Once you write something, it's as if it's chiseled in granite, there for the ages. I was fortunate to get a do over Friday night when I saw the opening performance of "It's a Wonderful Life: Live Radio Show" at Next Act Theatre.

Flood victim finds it really is a wonderful life

In Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life," the main character of the movie is named George Bailey, and the setting is a Christmas snowstorm in the fictional town of Bedford Falls. Fast forward 64 years, and in this story, the main character is Jon Kurozawa, and the setting is a horrific flood in Milwaukee.
