Having a piano as the center of attention can be tricky for live shows, but Jack's Mannequin front man Andrew McMahon kept the mood high and the music moving with ease for their opening night headlining set at the U.S. Cellular Connection Stage. The fans came to see McMahon slamming on the piano, and that's just what they got.

Ever since Milwaukee rock outfit I'm Not a Pilot released its debut CD back in June, the band has become more active than ever on the local club scene. The band -- which includes Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra cellist Peter Thomas -- performs Saturday, Dec. 5 with Jeanna Salzer Band and Identity Crises Inc.
