"Weird" campaigns exist in cities throughout the country, including Keep Santa Cruz Weird, Keep Vermont Weird, Keep Boulder Weird and Keep Missoula Weird. Maybe Milwaukee needs a weird campaign, too. Or maybe this city is already weird enough?

Let's face it, we don't get much of a summer here in Milwaukee. When we do get a chance to get outside and have a little fun, though, we sure do know what we're doing. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the city's collective calendar is jammed with outdoor festivals of all kinds: from the world's largest music festival, to all the Lakefront ethnic festivals -Â and all kinds of neighborhood and church events, Milwaukee truly is the "City of Festivals."
