OnMilwaukee.com is growing, and that means we've created a new position that needs to be filled. Call it programmer or Web developer, but this an especially exciting job, because it means you're an instrumental part in building the ever-evolving software that powers Milwaukee's best (and only) daily online magazine.

Not only has spring officially sprung, it's also t-minus one month or so until a new eager crop of fresh-eyed college graduates enter the workforce. I welcome you youngins'; congratulations on graduating and beginning the next chapter of your professional life. HOWEVER. This blog post is for you. Take what I'm about to say to heart.

No matter your political persuasion, some things transcend politics. Or at least, they should. With that, I point to the ridiculous controversy over actor Clint Eastwood's television commercial for Chrysler during the Super Bowl. The powerful ad proclaimed it is "halftime in America," and it's time for the nation to get up, dust itself off and get back to work.
