When an inquest jury decided there was enough evidence to support state charges against the three officers accused of neglecting their duties when Williams died, some were encouraged. Unfortunately, with no charges issued in his death it's almost like Williams' life never really counted.

Wisconsin's only Pro-Am charity golf event featuring Wisconsin's very own PGA Tour professionals - Jerry Kelly, Mark Wilson, JP Hayes and Skip Kendall - along with many other PGA Touring pros, will be teeing it up once again to raise money for several very worthy charities on July 30th at The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales, just outside of Waukesha. For the first time, this second annual event will be open to the public.

One the best attributes of Milwaukee is its lakefront. It's beautiful, and relaxing, But there's something else along the lakefront, something that isn't part of anybody's relaxation. It's an atmosphere of tension.

OnMilwaukee.com caught up with the third generation Major Leaguer as his Los Angeles Dodgers were in town to play the Milwaukee Brewers. Hairston, Jr. has been coming to Milwaukee for years as an opponent, but last season he spent 45 games with the Brewers as a late-season acquisition. The veteran didn't disappoint, hitting .274 with 18 extra-base hits during the season and then a robust .361 in the playoffs.
