It's the eternal argument: The chicken or the egg. The same can be said regarding an All-Star berth for Milwaukee Bucks guards Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis. If the Bucks are winning, do they earn the honor? If they earn the honor, does it mean the Bucks are winning? Either way, the door is open for the pair.

Brandon Jennings found out on Wednesday that the Milwaukee Bucks were not offering him a rookie-scale contract extension. Now, he knows where he stands heading into the season. So do general manager John Hammond and head coach Scott Skiles, who are both in the final years of their deals. All insist not having long-term deals in place doesn't matter.
