Working backwards on his resume, Brandon Reyes worked at Fink's for the past eight months. Prior to that, he was employed at Blue Jacket for 1 1/2 years and before that as a bar back at The Hamilton. OnMilwaukee.com recently stopped in for a Mai Thai and a chat with Reyes.

The brand new event is a weekend-long local music extravaganza running from Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 1, with 70 bands and 15 artists spread across three neighborhoods -- Bay View, Riverwest and the East Side -- and 15 venues. If that sounds cool, its motives (besides providing a ton of music) are even more so.

It has now been more than four months since the Sikh temple massacre. Amardeep Kaleka lost his father, Satwant Singh Kaleka - the founder of the temple - in the shooting and he says there has been a lot of grieving, but also the start of some healing over the past months thanks to communities, groups and individuals like MPS' Dale Weiss.
