"Jan Lievens" rewrites history of Dutch paintings
On the surface "Jan Lievens: A Dutch Master Rediscovered," the new exhibit that opened Friday and runs through April 26 at Milwaukee Art Museum, might look like just another lovely show of virtuoso painting by a centuries-old master you've never heard of. But, in fact, this exhibit overturns previous notions of Dutch painting.

New staff additions at the MAM
The Milwaukee Art Museum makes some changes to start a new year. Today, the museum announced the addition of new Chief Curator Brady Roberts and a new title -- director of exhibits -- for Laurie Winters.

MAM's "Rembrandt and His Time" explores influential artist
MAM's "Rembrandt and His Time" exhibit opened Saturday in conjunction with the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth in 2006. Milwaukee is the only venue for this exhibition.
