After months of renovations, Lucky Joe's Tiki Room opens to the public Friday, Nov. 16 in the former Ball Game space in Walker's Point, 196 S. 2nd St. This is the second venture for Ten Bells' owner Lee Guk.

Lee Guk, owner of Ten Bells in Walker's Point, purchased the building that formerly housed The Ball Game, 196 S. 2nd St., and says he will reopen the space by mid-October as Lucky Joe's Tiki Room.

In the business plans of most aspiring bar owners, six weeks are set aside for picking a name, deciding what beers to have on tap or ordering the fixtures to hang from ceilings. For Lee Guk and Michelle Hoff, a pair of seasoned managers in the Milwaukee bar business, they spent that time buying -- then opening -- the new Ten Bells bar in Walker's Point.
