Just because a woman turns 35 or 38 or 40 doesn't mean her wardrobe has to become a wasteland of frump and "mom jeans." Especially these days, when 40 is supposedly the new 30. But are there fashion dos and don'ts for middle-aged women?

My wardrobe is overwhelming me. Too many choices inevitably leads to a fashion disaster. So I queried some of Milwaukee's most influential style mavens for their advice. If they could only have 15 pieces in their entire wardrobe, what would it come down to?

The words "buy local" are so common these days, it's possible that they have lost meaning for some people. But not for these Milwaukeeans who plan to avoid the malls and buy gifts from Milwaukee / Wisconsin shop owners and crafts people.
