The LGBT Film / Video Festival is holding one of its monthly screenings on Thursday, Aug. 9, with Andy Warhol's film "Kiss" at the Lynden Sculpture Garden. The open-air screening of 13 couples kissing is co-sponsored by the LBGT Community Center.

Last week I told you about Take One, Milwaukee's Film's children's festival that takes place during the larger event, Sept. 23 through Oct. 3, and Piemonte Cinema, the Italian film event I'm organizing at Discovery World on Nov. 11-12. Also on tap this autumn is the 23rd annual Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video Festival, which runs Oct. 21-24.
