Through all of the injuries, a silver lining exists for the Green Bay Packers defense. Throughout the year, at least 14 players aged 24 or younger have started or seen playing time. Such youth has led to some hiccups, but this young group feels it's about to hit its stride.

I never thought the referees were that important. Oh, I knew that they made some mistakes now and then and there were cases that seemed to live in infamy. But when you got down to it the officials weren't all that important to the game. We certainly know better now after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.
