Is the reign over? Time catches up to LeBron James

At some point, all reigns come to end. Perhaps we are beginning to witness the beginning of the end for "King" LeBron James, as the now 30-year-old has seen the minutes, and the injuries, pile up this year. To compare, we take a look at similar players at similar moments in their careers. The outlook isn't good for James, or the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance, and naming rights for their own Downtown arena, things should have been looking up for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team this year. But academic sanctions took away any chance at postseason basketball, so the team enters the season with a chip on the shoulder and a goal of winning the regular season Horizon League title.


Autographs provide a trip down memory lane

I was (OK, still am) a sports nut. I love the games. I have an appreciation for the players and respect what they do. But when I was a kid, the athletes (and some coaches) were superheroes. I only saw them on TV, or maybe a couple times a year at a ballpark. One way for a younger me to connect was to write letters and ask for autographs. I came across those old mementos recently, and it was a flashback to a simpler time.
