At the beginning of the year the stated goal of the Milwaukee Bucks - from the top of the organization on down - was to make the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2009-10. They did that. But, by capturing the Eastern Conference's eighth seed after struggling over the final six weeks of the regular season, the accomplishment was bittersweet.

Jason Collins, currently an NBA free agent, came out publicly to Sports Illustrated on Monday to become the first active male athlete to do so in one of the four major American sports leagues. His colleagues with the Milwaukee Bucks expressed their support of his decision and don't see it as an issue going forward in the NBA.

Yet team revolves around LeBron James, who will likely win his fourth regular season MVP at the end of the year. Defending him is the Milwaukee Bucks greatest challenge in going up against the Heat.
