The NBA was to have opened its 2011-12 season this week, but the ongoing lockout wiped those games -Â in fact, all November games -Â from the schedule. League commissioner David Stern has ruled out a full, 82-game season and even an abbreviated campaign seems unlikely as the two sides remain stuck. For those who own bars and restaurants near the Bradley Center, the loss of games means a lot of lost revenue.

Pete Marshall was visiting Milwaukee from England and liked it so much, he made it his home. Looking for a job, he wound up behind the bar at the Milwaukee Brat House. Both the city and the job are perfect fits for the friendly Englishman.
