OnMilwaukee.com was again a corporate sponsor of Potawatomi's Miracle On Canal Street program this year and picked Walker's Point Youth & Family Center as its partner charity. The runaway shelter and education center received a check for $35,000 last week, but, truly moved by the group's work, OnMilwaukee.com decided to make just one more offering.

The Milwaukee Bicycle Collective - with help from Potawatomi Bingo Casino's Miracle On Canal Street and OnMilwaukee.com - awarded 15 Milwaukee kids with new bikes tonight. The kids won a contest requiring them to submit a picture and an essay about biking.

The Milwaukee Bicycle Collective is currently overhauling its youth program, and to celebrate it is giving away 15 brand new bikes thanks to help from Potawatomi Bingo Casino's Miracle on Canal Street and OnMilwaukee.com.

When the folks at Potawatomi Bingo Casino asked if we wanted to talk to Vince Van Patten while he's in town to spread the word about the casino's holiday charitable campaign Miracle on Canal Street, Andy Tarnoff and I jumped at the chance.
