The rumble of motorcycle engines is as sure a sign of spring in Wisconsin as baseball, open-water fishing or brats on the grill. Unfortunately, this past weekend's weather was not really calling motorcycle riders or anyone else to get outside around these parts.

The AMSOIL Arenacross series returns to the Brew City for the first time in over a decade with dirt bike racing and more at the U.S. Cellular Arena. The doors open Friday, January 31 at 6 p.m. for the first night of racing.

Recently, Redbar opened in St. Francis. The space, which formerly housed Majdecki's and later, Cool Waters, has been remodeled inside and out. It's now aptly painted red and the interior is a tribute to aspects of Milwaukee history, from vintage beer signs to sports bobble heads to an antique motorcycle license plate.
