On Jan. 7, WOKY-AM 920 will sound a bit different, changing format to become a sports talk station. Sports is no stranger to the station, which broadcasts NASCAR races, UW-Milwaukee women's basketball games and a number of other racing and sporting events throughout the year.

In a lot of ways, NBC is in a no-win situation. Because of the enormity of the Summer Games and their mammoth financial stake in it, they have to do what they think is in their best interest. But in its haste to protect their prime-time product for the casual viewer, NBC is angering sports fans.

The ninth annual "Evening With Hank Aaron," hosted by Bob Costas and presented by Brewers Community Foundation and the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation, will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the NYCE Stadium Club overlooking the field at Miller Park.
