Community Connections Small Grants Program funds 13 neighborhood projects

Through the Community Connections Small Grants Program, developed through a partnership of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Northwestern Mutual Foundation and Zilber Family Foundation, 13 resident-led groups are getting a boost to strengthen the neighborhoods in which they live.

Though I spent most of my first decade in Milwaukee just a bit east of here, there was a lot in the neighborhood - which runs from Pierce south to Greenfield, Chavez west to Layton Boulevard - I hadn't seen before.
