Eddie Lacy has not had the type of start to 2014 that he would have liked, with only one, 100-yard effort to his name thus far. But, he hopes that the change he made two weeks ago in Minnesota carries over the rest of the way.

The Green Bay Packers are finding that teams are making an effort to stop Pro Bowl running back Eddie Lacy from gaining much yardage, and therefore traction, in the offense. It's worked for two weeks. Can they turn it around as the team heads to Detroit?

Through two weeks of the NFL season, one thing is readily apparent while watching the 2014 Green Bay Packers - they are NOT ready for Prime Time. They may be ready in weeks 16, 17 and the playoffs - and that's what matters. But right now? This is a mediocre football team, with an above-average (but not great) offense, and a below-average defense.

The Green Bay Packers needed something to change, offensively or defensively, after falling behind 21-3 to the New York Jets on Sunday. The change came courtesy of defensive end Mike Daniels, whose pressure forced an interception, which led to a touchdown, which changed the course of the game in the Packers' 31-24 comeback victory at Lambeau Field.
